Description
Service contract for technical assistance to the Government of Ukraine to support alignment (legal approximation and implementation) of the provisions of Chapter 27 of the EU acquis on environment, including provisions of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement listed in Annex XXX to Chapter 6, with the focus on horizontal issues, air and water quality, waste management, nature and biodiversity protection, industrial pollution. The project will also support the accession process in particular by providing capacity building, compliance assessments for Ukrainian legislation, contributing in awareness raising on environmental issues, monitoring overall progress in implementation of the provisions of Chapter 27, other. The Ministry for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine will be the main beneficiary for the project, but close cooperation with other stakeholders will be required
